Terms of Service

By accessing or using Welto ("the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Welto on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Welto turns video, audio, and links into transcripts, summaries, subtitles, study material, and other derived content. Features, limits, and availability may change as we improve the product.

Some features depend on third-party sources and providers. We can't guarantee that every video or link can be processed, or that outputs will be perfectly accurate.

To use most features you need an account. You agree to:

You keep all rights to the content you upload and to the outputs generated from it. We don't claim ownership of your content.

You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service to you, for example, sending it to our AI providers to generate transcripts and summaries.

You are responsible for your content. You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload it and to create the outputs you request.

You agree not to use Welto to infringe others' rights, to process content you have no right to use, or to create unlawful, harmful, or deceptive material.

You also agree not to abuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, or to resell it without our permission.

Welto offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis, and usage above your plan's limits may incur additional (overage) charges.

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Welto relies on third-party providers for hosting, AI processing, and payments, and can integrate with sources like YouTube. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Welto, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don't grant you any right to our name, logos, or trademarks except as needed to use the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Welto and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using Welto and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or others.

On termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as content ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will continue to apply.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Welto after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
